Re: will my panic attacks go away

Hi. I use to have panic attacks several times a day. It took finding the right drug (Lexapro at 10 mg) to finally stop them. Now, I only have attacks when in a particular situation (driving phobia). If you are new to treatment, look for an "Anxiety Workbook" to help you cope. Also, visualization and self hypnosis books with exercises, got me thru until the medicine kicked in. The main thing, if you find medicine that works, take it every day. If you skip a day or so, the panic attacks or withdrawal will make you feel bad, so never get off the medicine without a doctor overseeing. If you are scared of taking medicine, start out taking a half dose until your body gets used to it. Good luck and I hope this information is helpful. Just know, you can overcome these awful attacks.

How long have you been having panic attacks? I've never tried activan but I have tried everyother med out there and nothing has worked. Sometimes it takes more then just med to stop your panic.{REMOVED}
