If she continues to do this past the age of 5-6, once the toddler years are over, you might want to consider looking into Asperger's Syndrome; both echolalia (repeating words) and hypersensitivity to feelings of clothes, lights, textures, etc. are symptoms. I don't want you to worry over nothing as it could very well be just normal toddler behavior, but if it continues long afterwards, just be aware that Asperger's could be an option. My therapist and I both agree that I have a very mild case of Asperger's (I'm 18), and I do have a lot of the traits and they first appeared at age 3.
