Bring back memories...

i have a newphew who is currently 5 years old now. he was so cute and adorable when he was a baby, and my parents and i were fortunate to baby-sit him when he was still a baby. i have captured some precious moments of him growing up and my family with my digital camera. the good thing about digital camera is that it can take photos as well as making short video clips.

The question i have is, is it safe to show those past memories to him in terms of health? or should i leave the past as it is and let life move on. I remember him asking me once, "uncle, is that really me?"

I use to be a kid myself, and i can't remember anything when i was 5 years and younger. photos on the other hand don't reveal what type of person i was.

Re: Bring back memories...

Kids love to watch videos of themselves! As long as the video isn't showing abnormally bad behavior, show him. My kids can watch hours and hours of themselves. It helps them with their memories, too.
