how do I help my daughter
My 4 year old just met her dad a few weeks ago and has a one hour supervised visit with him twice a week. She has now started wetting her pants. I read on here that could be explained by her feeling a loss of control or having anxiety about it but what can I do to help her feel better? The visits are court ordered so I cant stop them but I don't know how to help her through this confusing time.

Your poor little girl! Maybe you could plan something fun for after her visits. Do you think he is a danger? Is he really trying to get to know her? If he is, then maybe she will grow to love him, although I get the feeling that the visits are supervised for a reason. Good luck!

Re: how do I help my daughter
Get her to a counselor. My daughter's father has never been around much. He is in and out. Although she is young she is having feelings that she can't express. a counselor is a third party advocate for your daughter that can provide insight to the courts.
