I wish there was a way to help, but there is none. As long as you are sorry and won't do it again, and you've apologized to your child, you will just have to wait and see about all the rest. Hopefully no one at school will notice it.

Hey, I see this was a few days ago but...give yourself a break! Parenting is The hardest job on Earth and our beloved angels know how to push those buttons. In the grand scheme of things, this is really not a huge deal(let the complaints fly). I didn't see how old your son was, old enough to know better. Look, let it go and try not to let it happen again. No good parent likes to lose their temper. But it does happen. As for school, he is a kid and kids get banged up. We parent are being scared to death to raise our kids and raise them right with threats of child services. Your a good mom who lost her temper and her aim() and they have much worse to see and do. Even your son knows he was acting badly. Let it go and carry on.
