Question BPD - How to silence the voices??

I often find that I am in two minds and this is conflicting because I do things without thinking and invariably don't take responsibility for the consequences for my actions because I always blame her. It is her because I wouldn't do half those things under ordinary circumstances.

Outrageous outburts, wild driving, picking fights, obsessive compulsive behaviour and diagnosed BPD.

I toss conversations within my head as though I am speaking to more than one person and each one responds within their own voice. Does this make any sense?

How do you silence the voices and integrate them into one? Can one or do you manage them?

Is there any road to some resolve?
In small proportions we just beauties see, in small measures life my perfect be!

Re: BPD - How to silence the voices??

Honestly medication will stop the voices and learning to separate the two voices in therapy goes a long way

Re: BPD - How to silence the voices??

There are probably more than two voices, you just do not know it. A person can dissociate and not be aware of his/her behavior or just the opposite--they are aware but can not control the other personality. This diagnosis requires some intensive therapy. Often a person with BPD is resistant to therapy. It is hard but if you could make it through it(therapy) you will have a much better life I am betting. It could only get better, right?
