Can I get some opinions on my best course of action - pituitary adenoma/low T issue

Hey everyone, first time posting. Specifically came across this forum while searching for endocrinology forums. I will keep it short here.

35 year old male with pituitary adenoma (8mm diameter on last MRI) - I can post up more specific numbers if anyone is interested but my total test has been in the 190-250 range for a year or so. The diagnosis on which type of adenoma is still ongoing, prolactin looks good, IGF-1 is high, but GH is on the low side.

Anyways...I think I would benefit from TRT at this point, I lift weights 6 days a week, I do some power lifting, rock climbing, racquetball, hiking, etc. Hard workouts every single day. depression and anxiety some days and I am fine other days. Libido is dropping a bit. Having a very hard time building muscle. (I am 5'8" 155# and 14% body fat)

Maybe I should try a different doctor, or is TRT is bad idea while a firm diagnosis has not been completed? I am currently waiting 3 more months for another MRI and another round of blood tests.

    Cheers!
    Adam

You can't take supplements while you are still trying to figure out what is going on. Taking T will throw off your LH and FSH readings and which will also lead to infertility.

    How was the tumor found?

Also have tests for DHEAS as well as LH and FSH.

Curious what your outcome was. I am actually wondering if I have an adenoma at this point but doc wouldn't test because my prolactin was not raised. Similar to you I am very active, but sitting around 350.
