    Affected sense of smell?

    Hello all,

I have been diagnosed with a pituitary microadenoma last year, prolactin producing, currently taking dostinex twice weekly with good results...
One thing though I have noticed, I still have a "phantom" smell, meaning I smell something, ussualy burnt sugar, which is nowere around.....The doctor said that fake smell it could be a symptom of the pituitary adenoma. Does any of you have encountered the same issue? Also my sense of smell seems to be somehow enhanced, my husband jokes saying that I became a hunting dog.....

    Thanks for reading.
