Re: Completely wired, shaky legs, hard to stand, turn red and foggy head.
I used to get the trembly, foggy feelings, high heart rate, like I had too much adrenaline. But I never had the skin turning red symptom you have. My doctor tested just about everything, my heart, thyroid, basic bloodwork, and everything was normal. I was put on a beta blocker (metoprolol) and it resolved most of those symptoms. I still get them sometimes, but a lot of it is anxiety related, it is a vicious cycle of feeling weird, get anxious about it, feel even weirder physically, and so on. For me, the beta blocker helped a lot, it helped the physical symptoms, but also made me feel safe, that if my heart rate got out of control, here was this medicine that would fix it. Also, if I do feel shaky and foggy, just thinking about all the times I have felt that way and nothing bad has ever happened, no heart attack, passing out, dropping dead, etc, so nothing is likely to happen this time.
