Thumbs up How Accurate is FIRST RESPONSE???(Home pregnancy test)

ok..i still haven't got my period..(so far is my 31st day ) i do not actully know my cycle -.-; although i know itz within 28~35 days? and itz very regular..

i went to Rite Aid this morning to buy home pregnancy test called *First response* which can detect pregnancy hormone as early as 3 days b4 ur period is due...

Has neone used this product? and how accurate is this?
did neone get negative result but ended up finding urself pregnant?

DO you think i can pretty much rely on this result?
becuz letz say even if my period is due on 34th days i tested on 31st days so datz three days earlier..
    do i make sense/??-_-; thanx...^^

Hi. I used that test this past february when my period was 2 day late and I got a negative result. I am now 24 weeks pregnant. So, the results of that test are not very accurate if I go by my own experience. Some other ladies have had problems with the FRE too. It's strange because some people swear by it.

I would suggest waiting a few more days and test again using another brand. I finally tested positive when my period was almost 2 weeks late.

    Good luck!

Hi - I tested using that brand 2 days before af and also 1 day both neg! then I waited 1 day after I was due af and it was very very faintly pink, next day it was darker and my babe is due next month. So I guess although sensative it ain't for some people. Also if you read the instructions it says that in tests only circa 56% testing early rising to 75% will test positive. So give it a day or two and test again. Do you know the funny thing is that I must have ended up doing about 10 different tests over the week - I even laughed at myself by the end of it!! Good Luck.

Hi, I had gone to the dr for a uti 6 days before my period was due. I told them there was a chance I could be pregnant so they did a blood test and the results came back inconclusive. It was not negative or positive. He told me to come back in four days for another test. The next day (five days before my period was due) I went and bought FIRST RESPONSE and it was VERY positive....went back to the dr 3 days later and they confirmed it!!! Then a week later I had a miscarriage...
