Lack of symptoms?

Hi everyone! I'm a little bit concerned. I read all these posts about most of you feeling so sick... morning sickness, being tired, feeling like you have the flu, etc. The thing is... I have basically NONE of those symptoms. I'm 6 1/2 weeks along and many of the other women here who are about as far along as me (and some who *aren't* even as far along as me) seem to be having these sypmtoms. I was a little nauseated last week, but I think that was just nerves because it started the day after I found out I was pregnant. I don't have it anymore. My breasts are still very sore. And I still eat much more frequently. And I DO have a little pooch in my tummy. So I know that my baby and uterus are growing. I actually seem to be LESS tired than usual and I have more energy! What the heck is going on? It kind of worries me that I'm not feeling "sick." Is it just normal for some people not to get those symptoms? Of course there's no telling whether I might start getting them later on in my pregnancy. That could very well happen. And if it does, I should cherish this time! lol And I am very grateful that I don't feel like crap! But also slightly worried. Any thoughts?

Re: Lack of symptoms?

My mum never had any morning sickness with myself or my 2 sisters yet both of my sisters had terrible morning sickness. It all depends on the woman. I'm hoping I don't get it but I'm bound to I'm sure.

So I would count my blessings if I were you

Re: Lack of symptoms?

Not all women experience morning sickness.......and even if they do, not all women experience it by 6 weeks into a pregnancy. I experienced morning sickness with both of my first child was very mild..........however my 2nd child.......I was sick the entire pregnancy.

Just wait, it could be coming. I felt pretty good up until 8 weeks. I now feel nauseated all day everyday. I don't actually get sick, but I feel like I could. I'm always tired. I fall asleep at my desk everyday around 2:00. Good Luck. I hope you don't experience the symptoms. You would be a lucky one.

I hate to rain on your party hun but most people I've seen don't have morning sickness until 6-8 weeks, sometimes not even until 9 weeks.
