question about dizziness

hi all--
I am 17 weeks pregnant, and it seems i have a sinus infection, ive been feeling a little lightheaded, and dizzy-- well today i was in the store at the checkout line and i sneezed and i got really dizzy and a strange feeling like i got all hot and felt maybe like i was going to pass out. I put down all my stuff and ran out ( i also have panic disorder soooo i get easily scared ) ..i felt a lot better once i was outside --i should add that i hadnt ate yet and it was noon =( i know i am bad, had been rushing around getting ready for this meeting i had . I am just worried i feel a little better now, i ate and am resting but still scared --is dizziness common ? And right after sneezing? thank you so much for all of your input.

Re: question about dizziness

sounds like possible vertigo. i had it once last year....its where fluid is in your ear...and causing an you to have imbalance. i would see a clear up your infection...and tell them about your dizziness. if its will clear up when things return to normal.

Re: question about dizziness

Just last night I was talking to a friend who had her baby 2 months ago. She was telling me about her "vertigo"...she was getting it consistently around 22-26 weeks. Hers was found to be slight dehydration. Something to thing about...especially if you've been sick.

Re: question about dizziness

I get that every once in a while. It usually only last for a few minutes and it helps when I lay down for a minute and relax. Make sure you keep food in your stomach. That will make it worse. It is common during pregnancy nd most of the time is nothing to worry about.

Re: question about dizziness

I have that awful! I have such bad dizzy spells I had to quit driving! I used to pass out randomly, and get that hot feeling, noone ever figured out why. It can have somethign to do with yoru blood pressure and lots of women do it alot. But if you were sneezing it probably was your inner ear!
