You could go to your family doctor and have them give you something if its really bad they will probably contact your ob/gyn before perscribing anything to make sure its ok a days they can give you meds that won't affect your baby!

My doctor says to take Tylenol, Robitussin (plain, no initials), Sudafed, and over-the-counter cough drops. Watch the fever carefully and proactively take Tylenol if necessary. That poses the most danger to the baby.

go to the doctor- during pregnancy, especially the first trimester, many (almost all) meds are not recommended. However, it is not good to leave a fever untreated...ask the doc!

I agree with the last poster, ask your doc, as I got the flu during my first trimester and was not aloud to take anything accept tylenol and cough drops. I don't know about now, I don't need to ask, but I think it depends on how far along you are. The first trimester is most critical cause that is where all the development of your baby is. good luck.
