Really sick and taking gravol!!!!

I am not sure what gravol is... but I would call your doctor before taking anything unless they have said you can take it... the only thing my doctor has told me I could take is Tylonel....

Grvol is a Anti-emetic, antihistamine, antivertigo, it is often used for motion sickness.

Fetal Risk

While they don't for obvious reason's test on pregnant human females, testing on pregnant animals suggested possible association with cardiovascular defects and inguinal hernia in 1st trimester exposure.
Has oxytocic effect on uterus, may induce uterine hyperstimulation and fetal distress.
Exposure to antihistamines in general during the last two weeks of pregnancy may cause retrolental fibroplasia in premature infants . Contact your Dr. about any med. you want to take while trying to get pregnant,while pregnant or nursing.

Definetly a no no! Stop taking gravol now and consult your doc.

Alot of the antiemetics r ok, but if u want to feel safe take unisom its an over the counter sleep med and works like gravol! get it on the USA ebay i did. and it is one of the safest meds in pregnancy the studies are amazing! i bought 3 boxes and never had morning sickness!! typical! LOL!!!Alot of women and doc have reccommended that as they used it

Please consult with your Dr. it's just to risky. Some meds. are OK! others are not. The names of medicines can be close enough together to make a mistake one may be safe and the other not. A good example of 2 medicines that can be mixed up with dangerous results are Unisom Nighttime Sleep Aid (25 mg) and Maximum Strength Unisom Sleepgels, which contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride one is safe to take when pregnant the other is not.

The tablets are safe and the maximum strength sleep gels are not with unisom, easy to figure out which one.
