    Cloudy urine?

Hi everyone...I am 10 weeks pregnant and have had very cloudy urine for the past several weeks. Is this normal? I have been drinking a lot of fluids, so I don't think I am dehydrated...

    Thanks!

    Re: Cloudy urine?

I'm 31 weeks, and sometimes have this. It's because of all the extra discharge. But in your case, it may not be that since your early on, but then again, it very well could be. Are you having any burning, itching, or any other problems? If not, I would say it's normal. Remember, discharge changes and increases during pregnancy. But if you have your ob already, maybe you can give a quick call just to be sure. But I'm sure, even though I am no dr , that it's quite normal. Good luck and congratulations!

    Re: Cloudy urine?

Mine was really cloudy at the beginning as well. I thought at first it was the calcium supplements I take since I really don't care for dairy. I never found out what it was but I dropped off many a urine sample for my prenatal checkups that were like that and since they didn't say anything about it I assumed it was ok. You could check with your Dr. to be sure but mine seemed alright.

    Re: Cloudy urine?

Interesting, I was wondering the same thing. I am 11wks and noticed a few days ago that my urine has been cloudy. I bet it has something to do with those awful prenantal vitamins. Speaking of, why couldn't they create smaller ones? I choke everytime I take one!
