July Moms, are you ready or what?!?!
OK, this is a total vent post - UGH - 12 more days! I can hardly stand it, I want this kid OUT!! Anyone else going a bit nuts with the waiting?? At my 37 week appt., the midwife said he was about 6.5 lb. ...that's a fully grown kid in there! I am SO READY to get him out of my belly and into my arms!! And of course the weather here in VT has been horrendous - hot, muggy, humid, rain - my feet & fingers are all swollen and it's nearly impossible to get comfortable enough to sleep! Care to commiserate? :dizzy:

I'm very anxious~ but I am trying to enjoy the last few days of being pregnant too. I have enjoyed being pregnant?? I am due the 17th and have thought I would be early all along (high risk for 2 reasons...) and now I'm dealing with thoughts of being late...hope not. I want to see her!

Good Luck

I am so done with this pregnancy. I want it over with and my little one in my arms. It is too hot and humid. I have to go to the 23rd, but hopefully it will be early. I still don't know what I am having so that is the one thing I am truly looking forward to. hang in there all, its hard, but hang in there.

I can't believe it's July came around so fast! Like Hugs I have to wait a bit longer (EDD 24 July) but I'm so excited to meet our little one soon.

Physically, yes, I'm ready to stop being pregnant and have this baby in my arms - I can only wear flip flops because my feet and ankles are so swollen and the soles of my feet permanently feel like I've just done a 30 mile hike. And a good night's sleep? Huh? Can't remember the last time I had one of those! The baby has started to drop now and I'm getting up more and more often in the night to pee. Plus it's such an effort to turn over in bed that I have to wake up everytime I need to move! At least DH is suffering along with me, because I've also started snoring!!!! (I really hope that stops after the baby is born!) He's hates the thought of moving out to the spare room so he's started sleeping with ear plugs in.

Having said all that I actually hope the baby hangs in there for a couple more weeks because our house isn't quite ready for it yet. We'd cope if he / she came today but we've still got quite a bit of sorting out and DIY to do before we're totally ready. If baby came on time that would be perfect...I'm trying not to think about the possibility of having to wait another couple of weeks on top of that (that's how long they let you go beyond your EDD before inducing around here).

Re: July Moms, are you ready or what?!?!
Spanish, I hear you about the sore feet! My soles have been killing me - I can only wear one pair of flip-floppy sandal things and my slippers around the house - even going barefoot for more than a few minutes kills! And trying to turn over in bed...HAH. It literally takes me 5 minutes sometimes just to sit up & try to get out of bed to go pee. Thankfully, my husband works a night shift (never thought I'd say that!) so we're only in bed together 2-3 nights out of the week...which at this point is just fine with me! We sleep in a full-sized bed too, so there's not much room now for two of us with my gigantic belly, not to mention the 6 pillows I sleep with. It's actually so much better having the whole bed to myself, not that I don't still have to get up every hour or so to pee or shift positions. My EDD is the 14th - 11 more days, can you believe it?? - but if thing happen sooner than later, I'm game. The thought of going over that though is almost too much...I AM SO DONE!!!

Just finally got a hospital bag together last night - toothbrush, toiletries, some comfy pants, granny panties & a nursing tank top to wear home - that's about it. Oh, and litte guy's going-home outfit - a little onesie with sheep & farm animals printed on it, wtih a matching hat & receiving banket. I swear, this kid has a wardobe to rival Paris Hilton - I keep getting all these outfits and baby stuff from friends, I don't know where to put it all!!

Anyway, glad to hear you ladies are also suffering (un)comfortably along with me...hopefully we'll all have short labors, fast deliveries and pink healthy babies SOON!

Re: July Moms, are you ready or what?!?!
I wish mine would start dropping, then I would know I will go into labor sooner then later lol, I have horrible lower back pain and pelvic pain, and I was up every half hour almost last night for potty and it sooooo hurts to move. I wish there was something I could do to get it to come early, or drop or something, anything. I don't even know yet if I am starting to dilate yet or not grrrrrrr lol. oh well enough b*tchin lol.
