When do they turn over?

At what point is the baby supposed to be in birthing position (i.e. upsidown)? I'm 29 weeks and my baby is still head up.

Re: When do they turn over?

I'm glad you posted this Q. This is the #1 question on my list for my Dr. when I visit him next week, and I'm wondering that too.

I'm hoping it's soon. These low kicks and stomping on my cervix are driving me nuts.

Re: When do they turn over?

My baby was head down at 28 wks, but it could not turn until the very last couple of wks. If your baby doesn't turn by a certain point (depands on the doc), the doc may try to turn the baby him/herself. My baby always measured big, and I've red somewhere that the baby will turn when the head has grown a certain size and b/c of its increasing size and weight it will go down first ( gravity). So you both still have lots of time,
