Fried eggs w/ runny yolks - dangerous or not?

Is it dangerous to eat the type of fried eggs where the yolks are still runny? (Meaning the yolks aren't fully cooked.)

You run an EXTREMELY SMALL risk for salmonnella. Buy eggs that have been pasturized, then you can eat them however you want!

I would say yes. Eating raw or undercooked eggs could put you at risk for salmonela. It would be the same as cutting raw chicken and then using the same knife to cut your salad veggies without first washing the knife.

I always eat my eggs with runny centers, I would say I eat 4-5 a week because i crave them really bad. I havent had any problems with being sick or anything. I am about 5 months along...

There is a risk of salmonella, so if you have a delicate stomach it's probably best to avoid them, but I don't think the occasional one will hurt. I have eaten fried eggs with runny yolks occasionally during my pregnancy (I'm in week 34), but probably only about twice a month.
