Low Cervix

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from my ob check and nst. I am going on 36 weeks and was hoping to talk my dr. into getting induced soon since i have gestational diabetes. (no luck there) But she checked my cervix and said that the babies head was there and the cervix was low. Now I had my cervix checked at 33 weeks cuz i thought I had lost my plug, which was confirmed, but I was only open like a finger tip. I was checked last week (34 weeks) and there wasn't a change, he was fishing up there to find it. So it's changed a lot in the last 5 days. Does this mean I could go into labor soon? What does it mean?
