Well I woke up this morning and I sat up to get out of bed and my head was spinning, I gave myslef a min to get grounded and got up to go to the bathroom, but I kinda staggered to the bathroom you know that dizzy kind of stagger...anyway after that it subsided but I have been paranoid about it all day long...I have experienced this before while chnaging positions during night time, but my bp has been fine the highest its been has been 130/78 which is still normal and not considered, overall it has been anywhere from 100/60-130/70 the other day was when it read 130/78 so I dunno anyone else experienced dizziness?....Im almost 35 weeks

Re: Dizziness

I never really experienced dizziness like that. I would get dizzy in the shower. I couldn't take showers anymore. Just baths. I would feel like I was gonna pass out.

Being first thing in the morning for you, it may be blood sugar levels. If it continues, you ought to have something at the side of your bed to eat. Eat a little, give it a few minutes, and then get up slo

Re: Dizziness

Hi -

There's something called postural hypotension. It's when your BP drops briefly when your position changes suddenly like from lying down to standing or from sitting to standing. I was told it's pretty common in pregnancy since so much blood is circulating and there's so much extra territory! When you feel it, stop, and hold onto something until your head clears. Sit down if you need to. I had it in early pregnancy for a few weeks.

Do let your doctor know because the doctor needs to know everything. If you stay dizzy, let your doctor know right away.

Wishing you well - Barbara
