Question question for other march mommies

Im 30 weeks and 2 days and i have gained 34 pounds all together but my doctor says I'm all baby how is that if most people as far along as me have only gained 19-25 pounds??? Its crazy because I can still wear most of my old jeans...could it just be because of how tiny I was before??

Re: question for other march mommies

i am 30 weeks 2 days also i think this is a guess i was talking to a colleague of mine on tuesday and she was told the same thing when her waters broke she said it was like niagra falls and she had a 6 pound 2 baby. most of doctors estimates aon size are just that. i have gained about 24 popunds and i tell you it is all bump, boobs, butt and thighs. if you were tiny before your body would need to lay down more fat stores for pg to ensure your body had enough stored energy to take you through a tiny friend of mine gained 56 pounds so see it could be worse. oh and no way could i squeeze my new thighs and butt into my old jeans i am just glad summer is around the corner after the baby is born so i can wear skirts whilst trying to lose weight and i won't see how tight the jeans actually are in fact i am considering throwing out all my old jeans so i don't depress my self. good luck with the rest of your pg and don't fret

Being tiny and all you probably are all baby. Is all of your weight in the front in the tummy? I seen a girl at my birthing class who was extremely tiny and was ALL stomach. I was overweight before I got pregnant so I can not relate much but I lost 25 pounds in the first trimester and only gained 5.5 back. I wouldn't worry to much hunny! You weight range for gaining during pregnancy sound normal. Good luck!

When I got pregnant, I weighed exactly 120 at 5'5". I've gained ALOT and it's gone everywhere, so if you are all baby then lucky you! I've got the thighs, the butt, chunky arms, my face is puffy.. I would love to be "all baby"
