Re: Do's & Dont of pregnancy

Thanks for sharing! This is the first time I've read about the peanut warning... I have eczema and bad allergies and I've been eating peanuts and peanut butter almost daily! Anyone have articles to support this claim?

Just an FYI - when I was pregnant I ate peanut butter all the time and my dh has asthma and I have terrible allergies and hay fever. Rest asure, my son is just fine.

Same goes for soft cheeses and even unpasteurized products...unless you live in an area outside of North America. Listeria is extremely rare in this continent.
As for peanuts - I've never heard this, have some allergies and asthma and ate peanuts and peanut butter during my pregnancy and my ds loves the stuff and can't get enough.
Also keep in mind that not all of us live in the same area so although checking out your rights is important, the information you find out will very. For example, did other Canadians know that your are, by law, obligated to give your employer 4 weeks notice before beginning maternity leave, that your dh is entitled to take some paternal leave if you so wish and that although we are entitled to 52 weeks off with pay (55%) from the government, you only get paid for 50 weeks of it.
