I kind of feel bad because when i get on the bus or train and im really tired nobody will ever give up a seat (lol). My tummy is big 2 me! My doctor say that even though im not showin the baby is very big. so big that i should expect a c-section hes allready 3lbs. Im scared since this is my first pregnancy.

As long as your doctor isn't concerned about your weight, or the baby's size, I wouldn't worry too much. Were you very small, or large to begin with? Just try to eat as healthy as you can, and you'll be fine! People show much differently, depending on body type, weight, etc..

I'm sorry that no one can see your belly yet. It took me a long time to look pg rather than just fat. I'm 27 wks, and now people can really tell. However, sometimes I still think I just look fat. Good luck with everything!

I can't imagine your doctor saying you need a c-section when you are 32 weeks and the baby is only 3 lbs.. that sounds weird to me.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was 29 weeks and she was 3 lbs 10 ozs. and I had her vaginally. She weighed 8 lbs 5 ozs and came right on her due date.

Everyone carries their babies differently, even from pregnancy to pregnancy. You can not always tell how big or small the baby is by the way you look! If you are small framed and petite, that maybe why a c- section is needed. It is not always about how big the baby is... It is about how large your pelvic opening is and the Dr. can tell by an exam which is done @ your 1st appointment. Good luck!

Re: baby but no belly

I was like you with my first I didn't show at all I lost weight wore a size 8 pants the whole time NO ONE had a clue that I was 9 months and when I did tell them they thaught I was going to have a really small baby He was 7lbs and 21 inches long far from small. So I wouldn't worry about not showing I know it is aggrivating and you want to show off your belly.
I don't understand the dr saying you will mostlikely have a c-sections because the baby is 3lbs I just went to the dr. today I am 32 weeks too and she was 4lbs 9oz and the only reason I am having a section is I had one before but the main reason is they do not want to put her in stress with labor because she has a single umbilical artery and they are just being safe if not for that I would be trying a vaginal delivery again. I am a small framed person i am only 5'2 and not really big but I was induced with Ds and was going to try vaginal this time if not for the problems.

Try not to stress on not showing but I completely understand how you feel I was there but this time I am huge I think but again no one would think I am only 8 weeks away from delivering. Maybe we are just lucky and carry different than others. I don't know about you but I didn't get any stretch marks with DS.

Re: baby but no belly

With both of my pregnancies everyone has went on and on about how big I was and how I must be having twins or that my due date was wrong. I am ALL belly so my belly does look really big....but if you were to look at me from behind you'd never know I was pregnant. My first daughter only weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces so she defintely wasn't big. And I am thinking this little girl is going to weigh about the same as well. So just because you look a certain way, big or small, it doesn't mean that you will be having a big or small baby.
