Post Cramping

How normal is cramping during early pregnancy? I've been having some cramping really since before AF was due. It's mostly pretty mild and never last more then a minute or so but every once in a while I get a moderately strong one. Is this normal?? I think every little thing is going to concern me for a while.. I hope I don't bug you guys too much with my fears..

I have heard that it is very normal. Your body is adjusting and trying to stretch out and make room for baby to grow. It is more common with baby #1 because baby #2 already has room from the stretching baby #1 did. If that made any sense at all. LOL

I got them for the 1st trimester sometimes realy strong. My Dr said it was normal as long as there was no bleeding. If it gets really bad or you have a really bad feeling trust your gut and call your Dr. Good luck, Bon

I had them too, from before AF was due (I kept thinking she'd show and never did) through most of the first trimester. My doc said that unless they were really bad or accompanied by abdominal pain or bleeding, they were normal, probably due to the uterus stretching.

My cramping is the same as you described, Mjmoon. Comes and goes, sometimes they are a little intense. No pain, though.
Wishing everybody pain-free days ahead!

Hi everyone! Thanks a million for your responses. I feel a lot better now. Not knowing what to expect from day to day is quite scary..

I get cramping too. It started from about three days before A/F was due, and I still get cramps quite a bit actually. For me, its almost refreshing. As long as I am feeling something, I feel like everything is progressing. Breathe and enjoy
