    Post intense cramping

Hi. I have read on here that cramping is normal, but how much cramping. I am about 3 to 4 weeks pregnant and I'm totally cramping, it seems these cramps are more intense than regular menstrual cramps, which I have heard are normal during the first few months. Has anyone experienced rather intense cramping the first few months, I'm worried this will lead to miscarriage. I haven't had any bleeding, just the no and off cramping.

Jenn 2003, I've had cramping on and off since before I got the big + (and also now, I'm 7w5d), but they have not been worse than pms or af cramps, just about the same actually (which is why I really thought I was getting af before I took the hpt.) Do you have a dr yet? I think I would call & tell them you're having pretty bad cramps. I've read where other women have had cramps and spotting & their dr's check their hcg levels just to double check & make sure everything was ok. Maybe your dr could do the same. Keep us updated on how you're doing!

Cramping is normal! Of course if it is absolutely unbearable I would double check to make sure it isn't eptopic.. if you haven't already.. I am 14 wks and I still have cramps right where my little guy is.. its just stretching of ligaments and sometimes hitting the wrong nerve.. good luck on the rest of your pregnancy.. Many Blessings

No, I don't have a doctor yet, I was figuring it was still pretty early for that first appointment plus I will be honest fear is keeping me away. I'm so high risk that I know I will be in for many tests, and I am actually borderline psychotic when it comes to needles and blood tests etc, it's going to be really hard for me to go through all of those, even though I do realize it's necessary. Its funny that I have had so many serious surgery's but when it comes to a simple blood test I test to panic or pass out. I guess I will call the doctor today and make an appt. I'm just so afraid of everything, I guess that being pregnant is scary and I'm just now realizing how scary it is, so many things to worry about, so many things that can go wrong.....

Hi, I didn't start a new thread because this is related, but I'm experiecing similar symptoms as you Jenn; I'm very new to all of this. I discovered I am pregnant yesterday (have an appointment in a couple of days with my Dr. to confirm, but I have been feeling breast tenderness and moderate to sever cramping for several weeks now (I just thought it was PMS!). Now I am a little worried. I am crampy, nauseaus and have been feeling ver tired. Today I began to experience varingal pain as well...I will ask my Dr. about all of this on Friday but I read some articles about eptopic pregnancy and am now concerned that maybe I have one....? My question is, if it is an eptopic pregnancy, how long before it ruptures?
