Sorry for what might seem a silly question, but I worry too much and I need to know...Thanks

I don't think that getting sunburned can hurt the baby. I got a bad sunburn when I was 6 months pg and could hardly walk because it caused a lot of swelling in my legs. Other than that, my doctor told me to watch out for sunburn relief products that contain lidocaine (to use them sparingly).

I've always heard tanning beds are definitely not safe. The uv rays that come from them are a lot stronger than the ones from the sun. I wouldn't suggest it but you might check with your dr. and see what he or she says!

I totally quit the tanning bed as soon as I found out I was pg! I can definitely do without a tan for 9 months. I think it's best to abstain; I don't trust them.

When you are pregnant, specially in the early weeks, you shouldn't let your body overheat. I think thats why you shouldn't use a tanning bed.

You have to be careful in the sun while PG (Although your sunburn will not hurt the baby) because your skin is a lot more sensitive.

The day I found out I was PG I was burnt like a lobster. Uncomfortable but not bad for baby
