Unhappy Unbearable chest pain - Marfan syndrome?? Please Help!!

Hey, hope there is someone that can help me or point me in the right direction. On 20 May I started to get chest pain (SEVERE chest pain). In the beginning only once a day, later twice a day and now all the time. In the beginning only in the left side, now also in the centre and on the right side, as well as pain in my back between my shoulder blades. I suffer from fatigue (also since 20 May) and I get out of breathe (from almost nothing). I also have a cough (clear phlegm). I also get very bad headaches. I do not have a problem with stress. I have seen 2 cardiologist (did EKGs and Echo's), they said I am fine. Then I was send to a neurologist (my GP and orthopedic surgeon was concerned that I have MS), he also said that I am healthy. My orthopedic surgeon (need to fix dislocated shoulder) dont want to operate on me since I am not healthy, but no docter seems to figure out what is wrong. The next docter I saw, a specialised physician, said that I have Marfan Syndrome, Hiatal Hernia and Mitral Valve prolapse. He thought that the pain is mainly from the Hernia... However, after the hernia medication did not make much difference (after 2 weeks) and the heart medication seems to help (betablocker)... He send me for a second opinion to another cardiologist. I saw him today. He said my heart is fine and suggested that it might be something psychological. He also said that I dont have mitral valve prolapse (even though the previous cardiologist and the specialised physician confirmed it) and also that I dont have asthma and never had (even though 3 physicians in the uk confirmed and treated me for it) and that I dont have Marfan Syndrome (even though the specialised physician diagnosed it and two GPs confirmed it)... Anyway, so this docter said that it is in my head and recommended that I see a psychologist... I dont have problems with stress and I really really feel the pain... I dont have energy to see another docter, I dont know where to look for answers... I dont drink any alcohol or coffee or anything with caffine or anything that can cause acid reflux (just incase)... I will do ANYTHING for some pain relieve... Any suggestions??? I am seeing the specialised physician again...

Re: Unbearable chest pain - Marfan syndrome?? Please Help!!

My mother also has severe chest pain. She went thru alot of tests including cath. of her heart. They said it wasn't her heart. She has really bad reflux and that is what causes it. If she doesn't eat the right things she has chest pains. Tomatoes and cake are the worst.
Can you tell a difference in what you eat?
For some reason the heart medication worked on the pain. She has been trying a lot of different acid reflux medication by prescription, trying to find one that does not bother her.
It is really hard to believe but this pain does feel like a heart attack.

Good luck.
