    RSD and dental issues/headaches

I am relatively new to RSD. I was diagnosed seven months ago after wrist surgery. My RSD affects my right hand and wrist. My question is is in the past month I have had issues with teeth being sensitve and aching. However upon visits to the dentist, he can find nothing wrong. Is this a sympton of RSD. In addition since I had a Stellate ganglion nerve block I have had continous headaches for five weeks now. My pain doctor says it is not a result of the nerve block. I am also super sensitive to noise. Has anybody else had this problem? Is it safe to have dental work done. Please bare with my ignorance on this horrible syndrome I am trying to learn all I can about this health problem. I got a diagnosis about two months after the surgery and when I was sent to physical therapy they used ice frequently. I now know that ice should never be applied.

Yes, my teeth became very sensitive, everything I eat and drink has to be warm., cold and hot is not good. My dentist also did not find anything wrong. I thought that it is only me who has this feeling.

Thank you so much for responding. Knowing I'm not imagining all of this dental pain is comforting. I am having a hard time dealing with the whole concept of this disease. I am just so exhausted all the time.

You were diagnosed early, means that you have high chance of being cured. What treatment did you have?

Basic pain management for RSD includes neurontin, lyrica, cymbalta, painkillers, vitamins. Are you taking any medications?

Pain killers don' touch the pain. Been on lots of them. Trapdoor helps with sleeping.

They always write that it should be early aggressive treatment to cure RSD. So it is a myth. I just started medications, nerve blocks do not help in late stages. Medications have side effects. So,if they don't help, why take them?
