    I would argue that your insecurity/bullying has created the current situation more than his not really loving you, but either way this is currently the situation you are in.

    I love John U's post! I think this is exactly how a guys mind work sometimes, I think the main point here is:

    1) He isn't responsible for your feelings/making you feel better. In general, no one wants to take on this role.

    2) the problem isn't really him not wanting to spend time with you, You're the one that doesn't like his behavior so thus YOU have the issue, and YOU need to do something about if it he is unwilling to have an actual conversation or even care.

    I'm not saying your relationship is doomed, but if YOU don't like something it's pretty much YOU who needs to do something about it.

    It doesn't happen often on this board dominated mostly by females, but to get such an honest and insightful response from a guy on the receiving end of this very same problem. It's quite refreshing! Kudos to John!
