    Medication for Restless Legs

Hi, does anyone else take Sifrol for Restless Legs. If so how much? I take together, 1x .375 ER ( long lasting) and 2 X .25 (rapid) . Is this an excessive dose ? My Restless Legs are becoming unpredictable, starting anytime from around 4 Pm.
I also suffer from (Charley Horse syndrome), sudden uncontrolled violent jerking, kicking out the leg. This can be in either leg and starts when I have been sitting awhile. Sometimes I cannot travel as a passenger for long distances in the car without it coming on. In this case I have to stop frequently and walk around.
Before I travel I take Targin, a long acting form of Endone.
I also have Lumber Spondylosis and severe bilateral L4/5 faced joint arthropathy.
Bit of a mess at the moment and continual pain. Having a MRI in 3 weeks, scared as I am claustrophobic.
Thank you for reading, so happy I found this site.

    Re: Medication for Restless Legs

I take Sifrol. They say .125 but I take .25 and when it is really bad and that dose doesn't work I take another .25 tablet. I have been taking these doses for years with no side effects. I see a lot of people here take Mirapex which is the same as Baclofen in Australia and is usually taken for cramps not restless legs. I also get cramps in one of my legs because of a spinal injury and baclofen gets rid of the cramps but has never got rid of RLS.
