I know of no exercise to help. However, foods that will help are foods containing electrolytes. Electrolytes are Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium, Potassium, and others. It would take too long to list everything, but if you do a google search using the terms "foods high in electrolytes", you'll get a huge assortment. In a pinch, you can also drink Gatoraide or some pickle juice.

My boyfriend 44 yrs, would have to shake out his legs every night to make it go away before taking Lyrica. He's been on Lyrica for a few months. He would literally grab like the counter or something to steady him and shake out each leg very violently for at least a few mintes each. It looks funny but it works. Although, it would have to be right before bed and he would have to fall asleep before it starts up again which is really quick otherwise, he had to get up and shake out his legs again. He use to do this several times a night when it starts up and then the last shake before bed.
