Lightbulb Tyrosine And Rls

I have posted on this before, but now have actually found something in print that suggests the use of tyrosine for restless legs syndrome. Hubby has taken it for awhile now, but only when his legs bother him, and it only takes about 20 minutes for the legs to settle down. Now he is starting to take it three times a day with meals, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Something else that is very helpful for him: NO GLUTEN. If he does not have any products with gluten, his legs do not bother him. And he has stuck pretty religiously with that, only occasionally having something with gluten. IT sure is hard to find gluten free products, and the rice breads that you buy at the stores are so crumbly and you can never really make a sandwich. So he just doesn't eat bread products at all. Corn tortillas make up for it.
Just for everyone's information!

Re: Tyrosine And Rls

Wow thanks for sharing that great info!!! I no longer have restless leg syndrome but I'm sure a lot of people will be happy to hear about rls being caused by a defiency as that is easy to cure without drugs that cause side effects. Thanks! Interesting info!
