    MSM and Rosacea...

How has everyone’s success been with the MSM topical? I just received my Jarrow’s Formula MSM in the mail. I remember a few mentioned that they have been using this brand and are very happy with it.

Today was my first time using it. Wow, I am very surprised by the results. I would never believe when others would say that the MSM made their face glow and made it feel so smooth. Now I know the feeling, this MSM is some real good stuff. I have real sensitive skin. My question is, is MSM gentle enough for my type? Whenever my face gets irritated, my skin tends to turn pink looking like I have Rosacea. I have all that under control now with just washing once a day with a tea tree oil cleanser and using aloe vera. I’m afraid if I add this MSM, it might make my conditions worse. So can MSM aid in Rosacea, since it does say it supports problematic skin, which I believe includes acne, wrinkles, stretch marks, and possibly even Rosacea. Or can it make sensitive skin worse? So far, I’ve only used it once and it’s done my skin very well. =D

I don't think the msm would or could aggravate rosacea but the other ingredients in the cream might, I dont know.
Since you bought it, might as well give it a shot. But you can also just add msm (diluted in hot water) to your aloe vera.

I started taking MSM orally (tablets) a few days ago, as I also have Rosacea and read that msm could possibly help with the rosacea and for overall skin improvement. Where did you purchase the msm cream? Thanks.

Hey, I got mine from the internet. You can buy this brand from Wild Oats though...or any other health store. This msm gel I am using is very safe since none of it's ingredients are pore clogging. There been a few people on the other board using it as well, and they've been getting great results. =D Hope this helps. I also heard that taking MSM internally doesn't really make much of a difference. When I apply this gel, it just makes my face so smooth and glowy to touch.
