Red face Rosacea help? Very frustrated

    Hi everyone!
I am battling a bad rosacea breakout the past few days and am going nuts with the itching! Does it normally itch? It started under my nose and the dermatologist gave me sulfur gel for it, which I started using a few days ago. Its not spread to my cheeks. Its constantly hot and itchy. Any home tips, or things that have worked well for you? I'm also using lavender oil to soothe it at night.
    Thanks in advance!!

Something that's helped me is 'pine tar' soap, since I've started using it my rosacea has become far more manageable, although it took a few weeks to see the best results.

Thank you!! I also purchased Emu oil from the natural products store in my town, its already helping. I will try the Pine Tar soap too. I appreciate the help! I'm more about doing things without the drugs as much as I can.

When my Rosacea flares up and gets really red, I use straight aloe vera gel. Just spread it on, and it feels cool and stops the itching. I buy the ********'s brand. It's clear, 99% aloe vera, and is inexpensive. Apply at night before bed, and allow to dry completely. The redness is toned way down by morning, and sometimes gone completely.
