Can severe scoliosis cause swallowing problems

I have severe adult scoliosis and am not a candidate for surgery. I noticed that the hollow of my nneck between the collarbones is no longr in the center but off to the right. I am having some swallowing difficulties and my lungs are constricted from the scoliosis also. I get short of breath very easily.

Can the spine get bad enough to completely restrict your swallowing ability? I do not even know what doctor to see at this point. I have seen an ortho doctor and an ENT who thought it might be from acid reflux but I am wondering.... Also I can not have barium. Many allergies to contrasts and meds.

    Thank you.
