No problem. Maybe if you called your doctor's office and told them what happened, they would phone it in for you? Or look online -- there are over the counter versions. Cream or ointment.

I know it can drag out. Did your doctor mention Lidocaine to you? I used it and rubbed it into my skin where the pain was -- after the blisters had healed. It worked really well on my nerve pain.

I think everybody is different. And it also probably depends on your physical health before you got them. Although, they normally come up when someone is extremely stressed or run down....

Yes it is possible. It can take a lot time to get over the fatigue of mono, even if it doesn't show up in a blood test. :yawn:

If you don't want to take any pain meds, I still recommend the Lidocaine. It's a cream. It penetrates the skin and goes down to the nerve endings. It really helped me tremendously with my back...
