I have to agree with Laura-since it is taken 2x per day-it's best to take every 12 hours.
I take mine 7-8am /7-8pm. That's because I'm taking off for work by 8am.

You have to give any med 6-8...

Dilantin does cause your gums to swell-I took it for years as a kid...I did all the flossing etc, that needs to be done...my dentist sent me to have gum surgery-where they were cut back..they look...

I know what you mean~some Dr think it's nothing if you have a reaction to meds. The meds I currently take for my epilepsy are tegertalXR and keppra. I've never had a side reaction to either of them....
