I have one for just dealing with pain, no help with legs, etc.. It is placed just under my skin (off label). I am THRILLED with it, down over 80% in meds, not healed but helps more than drugs...

I had Dynesys® Dynamic Stabilization System done several years ago at l4l5. That uses bolts instead of traditional fusion. Don't know if that is an option.
