Re: surgery scheduled for sept 16

I've seen carpal tunnel disappear with fixing the hamstrings (yeah sounds wild, I know). I've also seen people go through the surgery and have no relief. There are chiropractors all over the world...

Re: Two odd things... any thoughts?

Sounds like possibly a hiatal hernia to me. Some chiropractors actually do maneuvers to pull the hiatal hernia back down out of the chest, into the abdomen where it belongs (part of the stomach is...

Re: Anyone ever get this?

Perhaps you have had the restless legs before and this is the first that you have been aware of it. Or, if you were so lacking in magnesium, it may be that you were beyond the restless legs, and now...

Re: muscle aches and twitches

Still, the EFAs should help, and definitely if the muscles ache you probably need to look at the calcium, magnesium and potassium. The "sounds like bone on bone" means there are issues in the joint...

Re: Anyone ever get this?

It sounds like restless leg syndrome - you probably need more magnesium in your diet. You eat much in the way of green leafy vegetables? They are high in the magnesium.

Re: muscle aches and twitches

When I hear muscle cramping and twitching it makes me think about the possibility of mineral deficiencies - specifically calcium, potassium and magnesium. You may want to see if increasing your raw...

Re: always tired

I just know that in my work (I do alternative health care) when I run into a vegetarian, almost always the energy flow to the liver is blocked, and even when I fix it shortly thereafter it goes out...

Re: Symptoms of ...I don't know what...?

The flushing and numbness and such sound to me like possible niacin flush - many forms of B3 (niacin) will cause a hot flush when you take the supplement. The fact that you said you have B vitamin...

Re: always tired

Perhaps the strict vegetarian diet has something to do with the fatigue. Considering for millenia our ancestors ate red meat, I think cutting it out of your diet is a huge mistake. I have a friend...

Re: Global Annesia

I have heard of it happening related to some "statin" (cholesterol-lowering) drugs. Is she on any? If so she may want to consider stopping them.

Re: Please Help Me

Not sweating sounds like one of the symptoms my daughter had with environmental illness. I wonder if perhaps things are related to that.

I know when she was having major EI problems Camille...

Re: Eck!

Do you drink much water? I do know that early balding in men at least often is related to dehydration. Up your water intake.

I also wonder if thyroid is involved. Often thinning hair is...

Re: Anyone feel ill everday?

Temporary elimination of the processed carbs - sugars and grains - should do a lot for helping to see if indeed the the symptoms are related to them. And I definately would completely avoid Splenda...

Re: Joint Pain/Body Aches/Finger Numbness

There are a couple of things I would wonder about. First, are you on any cholesterol-lowering medication? If so, I would worry about possible rhabdomyolysis, which has been a rare skeletal muscle...

Re: Sodium in relation to nosebleeds

Actually sodium does not cause dehydration, lack of water and poor water metabolism and fluid utilization cause dehydration. If you cut your sodium back too much you can cause problems just as much...

Re: Always cold

Did rubbing your temples make you feel less cold, besides relaxing you too? I've used that to keep warm when outside without a coat in winter before and had it work amazingly well.

Re: Always cold

It sounds like hypothalamus to me. Try rubbing your temples (sides of your head by your eyes) for 20-30 seconds (keep your eyes open while rubbing, unless you want to adjust to the temperature for...

Re: Sodium in relation to nosebleeds

If it is blood pressure, you're probably somewhat dehydrated. The biggest cause of high blood pressure (in my opinion) is dehydration. I have been told drinking a quart of water for every 50 pounds...

Re: Anyone feel ill everday?

Katt, with you, the fatigue, it makes me wonder about adrenal fatigue. Have you tried looking at your diet? Often eating too many simple carbs and not enough good protein will cause fatigue. Try...

Re: Inner Ear infection

It sounds like otoliths (ear stones like ratatock said) out of position in your ears may be the issue. I believe either an ENT or a neurologist should be able to do a maneuver that would reposition...

Re: Sodium in relation to nosebleeds

I would wonder more about a B6 or coenzyme Q10 deficiency as causing frequent nosebleeds.

Re: Anyone feel ill everday?

Hi Shannon,

You know I wonder about environmental illness or multichemical sensitivity being an issue. My daughter has dealt with that. What happens is the body becomes toxic and you begin to...
