Re: Had my tonsils and adenoids out on 6/20/12

If I wasn't eating or sleeping, I was chewing sugarless gum, which was highly recommended by my doctor to help ward off ear pain. Also, instead of lying down, I slept in a recliner until after the...

Re: Adult Tonsillectomy with type 2 Diabetes

I found pain pills were easier for me to swallow than yucky-tasting liquid. They weren't large pills, though.

Re: EarPlanes?

I flew for the first time in my life in 2010 at age 58. :) I used EarPlanes and they seemed to work for me. Maybe I wouldn't have had a problem anyway. If I ever fly again, I'll use them again.

Well, VDelgado, maybe TMJ makes your case an exception to the rule. In a case such as yours, perhaps a decision has to be made between having jaw pain or ear pain. All I know is that my ENT and the...

Just wondering if you've been chewing gum. It's supposed to help with the ear pain. I chewed gum almost every waking hour and never had any ear pain.

My "go to" food was instant mashed potatoes....
