Question Struggling.

I have been struggling a lot lately. I've cut and burned, Its been really hard latley. My parents and I fight all the time, they cuss me out all the time and tell me Im a terrible daughter. All I can think is maybe their right,Maybe they do deserve a better daughter. I don't know how much longer ?I can take this. Not to mention My best friend Doug, died two months ago in a car accident. I miss him so much, And all of this stress and grieving, only brings self ham. I dont know what to do...):

Re: Struggling.

Hello Shells611. I'm sorry to hear about your parents' unkind behavior towards you and the sudden loss of your best friend. It sounds like you're going through a very difficult time and I think your parents should be comforting and supporting you instead of treating you in the manner that they are. Do you have a school counselor or someone to talk to about what you're going through?

Re: Struggling.

Hey Shells,

Im so sorry you're going through so much right now. I know what its like to lose a bestfriend suddenly. I lost mine at 13 from a train accident. Its so hard.

Don't be too hard on yourself about the self harm.. i know its how i coped.. but remember it only brings more problems. Maybe try to be creative or make something in honor of your friend.. or do collages of positive things.. i dont know.. just a thought.

Hang in there.. I'm here if and when you need someone to talk to or just need to vent.
