So how hard is it really to get an STD?

I read somewhere that in order to get a STD the penis have to have a cut or abrasion or something that allows bodily fluids (be it semen or blood) to come into contact with the girls...shall we say "juices"...But if the penis doesn't have any abrasions then the likelyhood of the guy getting a STD from the girl is minimal...this is ofcourse with unprotected sex....comments?

That is a nice fantasy See the opening in your penis? Think of it as a wide-open door and all the little nasties can waltz right in. You don't need a cut or abrasion to catch an STD, think of all the millions of people who are infected every day, you think they all have cuts on their equipment? And if it's so hard for men to catch STDs, how are all these women getting infected?

Yep. Cuts make it far more probable, but there are all sort of microfissures in the skin that viruses can invade. A virus is a tiny, tiny thing - smaller than the skin cells. Bacteria are much larger and they love to enter into the urethra.

depends on the std....gonnerihha/clhymidia or quite easy to catch...for females it is something like 90% from an infected man...for males it is a bit harder...other std's are harder to get.
