| Duac Experience
Hey everyone!
Basically I am 17 and have had a problem with acne in the last year! My acne tends to my quite cystic and my problem areas are my chin, nose and forehead. I have oily skin and blackheads on my nose! I got Differn cream and an antibiotic the last time I went to the doctor and I didn't see many results at all! My skin has flared up in the last few weeks so I returned and she gave me Duac cream and said to apply it at night! So Friday night I applied it to my problem areas after I had cleansed, toned and mosturised! I had no initial itching etc! But, during the night I awoke many times finding myself scratching my face! Saturday morning my face was red and very, very itchy!! It had cleared up my skin though a bit but the itching was horrible!!! The whole day I was scratching my face! I decided I'd only apply a small amount to my acne Saturday night but after about 5/10 mins I washed it off as I was not prepared for another sleepless night! I put a piece on my wrist to see if it would irritate me and it didn't! Anyone any advice or similar experience?? Could my moisturiser be affecting it etc? I used Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel the first night and E45 the second night! Since I have been touching my face a lot in last few days I have broken out above my mouth! Should I apply it again or not?
