Horrible shoulder problems! :(

I am 14 years old i play baseball. I am one of the leagues best. And i hurt my rotator cuff a year ago. I have recently got that pain back except worse. Is it the same problem? Or what. When i move my arm at all it hurts. I am still continuing to play. It is my right shoulder.

hi, I would not continue to play. you are making it worse probably. I'd see a dr. and get an MRI first to see what it is going on. could be tendonitsis or a tear (plz excuse sloppy typing just had shoulder surgery) . plz let us know how you do.

Last reaction is right. PT´s say that when athletes get this pain they MUST immediately stop playing. You might have a small tear or swollen supraspinatus/bursitis from overusing/instability. This "impingement " is a serious thing and should be treated carefully, then it´ll heal as well. If not, the supraspinatus gets weakened and after some fall you´ll tear it. You´ve got to search for a experienced PT, he´ll help you out before things get worse. You´ll be playing again within a few months!!
