Sperm Motility 34% ... any suggestions?

I just found out my husband's sperm motility count is 34%. Other counts look fine. Doctor said to try IUI tomorrow and see if that will work. Didn't get a specific answer as to whether or not this count is too low for IUI to work.

Does anyone have such experience??

34% is not that great, and I would definitely go with the IUI. My first IUI, my husbands motility was 50% and I did not get pregnant, but of course, we dont know if that contributed or not. My second IUI, his motility was like 90% and I did get pregnant, although it was tubal. I would say that with 34% motility, it is very unlikely you would get pregnant without an IUI though. I think it is possible but lessens your chances. Has he been tested before? Has his motility always been low? My husband has been tested maybe 5 times, one month it's bad, the next month it's good. It's weird.

I had IUI today. His pre-wash motility count was 44%, post wash was 67% motility. Post-wash count was 20 million.

Hopefully it will work this month.

What did your husband do to increase his motility?

He didn't do anything at all.....I have no idea how it worked like that. It was weird.

You can get your husband to take Folic Acid, Zinc 50 mg, Vitamine C 1000 mg and Vitamin E 800 IU and it will help with your husbands motility and his counts. This is what my doctor's husband suggested we do.

the normal range is 50-100.

34 is low. My dh's sperm count is normal, but the motility is low.

it's:
43% - 1 hr
37% - 2 hr
28% - 3 hr.
I wanna buy him fertility blend for men before gloing through any infertility treatment.

How long after iui can I find out if I'm pregnant? Any one know??
