I am very much looking forward to discussing my
lasik sugery with others who have had it done. I had
Lasik sugery on both eyes 3 weeks ago.
After the surgery, I could see! The day
after I had 20/20 vision in one eye and 20/15 in the other. Since then my vision has continually regressed. I am now at 20/40 in one eye and 20/30 in the other. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I have enhancement surgery done? I am very concerned about the continual regression. They told me that it could regress a little then return
after a couple of weeks. At my week follow up, I was told that my eyes were inflammed and they extended my prescription for the anti inflammatory drops. I am using them faithfully as well as constant drops of Refresh Eyes. They did also put permanent plugs in my eyes as the surgeon said that my eyes were extremely dry and couldn't believe that no one had mentioned this to me before. This has caused me to have lots of
red flags about my eye doctor. (I live in a small town and a local eye doctor coordinates with a surgery center in a larger city. You have your initial visits with the local doctor, the surgery at the center and your follow up visits with the local doctor).
Anyway, I am hoping someone can help me with deciding about enhancement. Also what if I need glasses again, but the prescription keeps changing, has that happened to anyone?
