    Thera-Tears gel?

Has anyone used these drops and what is your opinion of them?

I assume you are talking about the liquid gel. I tried them and found they actually made my eyes feel drier. Pesonally I like Systane the best.

Yes, I meant the liquid gel. I'm trying out different preservative free drops, gels, whatever to reduce dry eye. I would like to cut down on the regular refresh drops I'm using about every 45 minutes.

I use Refresh Plus and they help quite a bit, but if there is anything better, I'd like to know about it too

I would recommend Systane. I haven't tried the PF version yet. Also the refresh tears liquid gel is good

    Re: Thera-Tears gel?

Hey there...I'm three weeks post-op Lasik. I was using Bion Tears and putting drops in my eyes every 10 minutes after the surgery because of severe dry eye. After about a week, my OD switched me to the Thera-tears gel. They seem to stick around a lot longer and I am not having to use they near as much. The only thing I don't like is that my eyelashes will be stuck together in places when I wake up in the morning. But it is definitely worth not having to use drops like I had been.

    Re: Thera-Tears gel?

i really hated the thera-tears.... like a previous poster, they seemed to make my eyes drier.... but that's just me. i've heard of some people who would swear by it, so unfortunately it's a trial and error thing! i actually ended up using the target generic brand of eye drops and they worked just as well for me as the name brand stuff (much cheaper too!).

    Re: Thera-Tears gel?....i prefer systane

I like the systane vials. Which I found on sale at Target in my town. 28ct box, 2 for $13. My eye surgeon recommended these as the best.
