Ulnar Nerve Release Surgery Recovery

I had a pinched nerve in my left hand and numbness in my pinky and backside of palm for about 4 months. EMG and tests showed pinched nerve in the elbow, but no nerve damage or loss of muscle. Last week I had surgery to release the nerve at the elbow by opening the "tunnel" that the nerve runs through.

My question is what is the general recovery time before the numbness starts to subside? My pinky and palm are still just about as numb as before the surgery.
