Re: hep c for one year are the symptoms im having cirrhosis?
Hello Jason, Chronic Hepatitis C, Liver Transplant Patient here. If you just have Hepatitis C you're just fine, there is a treatment for it. If you have Cirrohosis, there is still hope and it is serious. Grab Health Insurance right now while you can, go see an hepatology specialist (suggest a liver transplant program closest to you, State Hospital recommended), you will get a blood draw. Doctor will go from there like deciding if you will be place on the liver transplant list, UNOS. Depending on your MELD score the higher the better.
Now back to your symptoms everybody is different, different body different reaction. I hope this answer your question. When I was placed on the Transplant list. A Year flew by out of the blues, I woke up one night with a huge stomach abdomen like a 9 month pregnant. I puked healthy food (salad) and water non-stop. I knew the jig was up. My skin turned yellow, jaundice went into the ER at the hospital that was treating on my case. Send home from the hospital saying it is a liver failure placed first on the list for a liver transplant based on MELD score, about a week in, I got a call saying they found a transplant for me.
Hope this answer your question. Eat healthy food so when you start puking non-stop and jaundice then you know. Just look out for the big symptoms and go to ER immediately.
