Unhappy SEVERE Dry Eye after Lasik

Had Lasik surgery when I was 20. I'm now 31 and still suffering from severe dry eyes. Have to use drops constantly - can't go anywhere without them.

I've been to numerous eye doctors to try to find a solution. I have plugs - which makes it possible to sleep at night.

I tried restasis, but my eyes are too sensitive and can't handle anything but Refresh Tears.

Are there any new procedures available yet that can heal this?

Is your dry eye from lack of tears or due to the glands around your eyes?
If its the glands then there are two treatments that help clear the glands: ipl or probes
If its tears then i dont know what the treatment is
Also there is a pill called theralife that seems to work on me, i am 8 months post lasik with dryness.

Lack of tears - no doctor has been able to give me a definitive explanation as to why my eyes don't produce enough tears. But my best guess is that the nerves did not repair themselves well enough.

I'll give the theralife a look. Thanks.
